Booking & Client Information
To ensure a smooth and secure booking process, clients must provide their full legal name, which must match the name on their government-issued ID and payment method. A valid phone number and email address are required at the time of booking. Mercii Beaucoup is not responsible for missed communications due to incorrect or incomplete contact information provided by the client.
Deposits & Payment Policy
* A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all photoshoot appointments unless explicitly stated otherwise.
* The deposit is applied toward the total session cost.
* All payments are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
* In eligible cases, payments may be converted into a credit toward a future session, at the sole discretion of Mercii Beaucoup.
* The remaining balance is due in full at the conclusion of the photoshoot and must be paid via cash, Zelle, Cash App, or Apple Pay
* Failure to submit full payment will result in withheld access to all images until payment is received.
Late Arrival Policy
Timeliness is essential to maintaining a professional and efficient session.
* A 5-minute grace period is allowed.
* After the grace period, a $20 late fee is charged for every additional 10 minutes
* If a client arrives 30 minutes or more late, the session may be canceled at the photographer’s discretion, and all payments will be forfeited
* Session end times will not be extended due to late arrival.
Rescheduling Policy
* Reschedule requests must be submitted at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled session.
* A rescheduling fee is required and must be paid at the time the new date is confirmed:
**$50 rescheduling fee for lifestyle photoshoot appointments**
**$100 rescheduling fee for studio photoshoots and event bookings**
* If a new date and time are not confirmed within 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited
* Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
* Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled session are subject to a 20%–50% cancellation fee based on preparation, time, and resources already committed.
* Cancellations made during the session will result in a 100% charge.
* Clients who fail to arrive, arrive 30 minutes or more late, or miss the session entirely are considered no-shows and will be charged 100% of the session fee.
* Emergencies or unforeseen circumstances may occur; however, time and resources are lost by both parties, and these policies remain in effect.
Location Fees & Travel Costs
* Any location-related fees (permits, entry fees, studio fees, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the client
* Additional travel fees may apply depending on the shoot location and will be communicated prior to the session.
Image Delivery, Access & Storage
* After the session, RAW images will be uploaded to a secure delivery platform.
* A download link will be sent via email or text, as selected by the client.
* The download link will remain active for 12 hours after final payment is received.
* Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their files within this timeframe.
* Mercii Beaucoup is not responsible for lost files after the download window expires.
Editing Requests & Turnaround Time
* Clients have 48 hours from receipt of RAW images to submit their editing selections.
* Requests submitted after this window will not be accepted.
* Each image is labeled with a unique file name (e.g., “*MB*#”). Clients must submit file names only, not screenshots or images.
* Edited images can be delivered within **2-7 business days** from the time selections are received depending on the session you booked.
Image Usage & Social Media
* Mercii Beaucoup retains the right to use any images, including RAW or edited photos, for portfolio display, website use, and social media promotion, including but not limited to Instagram (@mercii.beaucoup).
* Clients who wish to opt out of image usage must submit a written request prior to the session
Agreement
By booking a session with Mercii Beaucoup, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above. These policies are in place to ensure fairness, professionalism, and a seamless experience for all clients.
